Meeting

A no cost, no obligation, no pressure (no kidding) series of consultations designed to help you and your family understand, in specific detail, the steps and costs involved in translating your unique vision into your home.

Vision

Whether you are building or renovating, you have a vision for your home. Vancouver Custom Home Builders has the experience to transform that vision into reality.

Pre-Design

We will create a detailed project scope, a preliminary budget along with a design schedule to keep things moving smoothly.

Approval

Get pre-approved for a construction loan if you will need one so we can determine your budget for building a home. The budget will drive the design and help us to create plans that will stay within your budget once built.

Assessing The Property

Before we can build anything, we have to look at the land that the new house will be built on. Each property is different and can present unique challenges or opportunities.

Architectural Design and Refinement

With the land and building design confirmed, we will bring your vision to life. We do this with detailed drawings and 3D renderings. This part of the process is very interactive and includes numerous exchanges between you and VHB.

Interior and Exterior Design

While waiting for the permits, we will be able to really focus on the finer custom details of your new home. All interior elevations for millwork, bathrooms, kitchens, tiling, and fireplaces will be competed.

Construction Documentation

After receiving the permits, we are ready to break ground. Construction documents include: architectural and structural drawings, design drawings and specifications, the comprehensive budget, the comprehensive project schedule, the detailed scope of work, the construction contract, and all approved permits from the city.
